Colt Model 1905 serial number 246.
This was the sixth gun shipped with the cut
for the optional Combination Stock/Holster. Interestingly,
of the 440 pistols which were shipped with the
Stock/Holsters, there were 38 that were not. This pistol
letters as a one gun shipment to W. Bingham & Co. on March
8, 1906 and the letter indicates that it was shipped with
the stock/holster. There are no signs on the gun that it's
ever had a stock/holster attached.
