P. Cardenas Collection Colt Super .38
serial number 761 - blue finish, pictured here with a set of deluxe
aftermarket checkered ivory stocks. This was
the first year of production for the Super .38.
Colt Super .38 serial number 761 - Colt factory letter
indicated this pistol was shipped to Union Hardware and Metal Company,
Los Angeles, California, March 22, 1929, nine guns in shipment.
